The Columbus Park Refectory
is a historic structure owned by the Chicago Park District. The scope of
work included the preparation of construction documents and construction
administration for the installation of air conditioning for the main dance
hall and dining room, and surrounding corridors and vestibules; the installation
of ceiling fans; the installation of solar coverings for the south exposure
windows; and the insulation of ceilings. It was completed in 1998. The construction
budget was $450,000 and the final cnonstruction cost was $435,600.
